Sunlight & Water

21 years later, still lost with steps to show

came a long way with ways to go

though the minds been more than an embrio

I temper in tangent out the flow

The bodies still breathing, heart is still gold

Dealt impossible hands but ya dont seem to fold

& the devils arms open but my soul is not sold

So what if this weight is to heavy to hold,

& citizen atmosphere is frost bitten cold

The times still ticking, does it ever get old?

In a damp dark cellar the mind starts to mold

Spores replace cells, the rest figments to coal

seratonin in shock from a 6 month roll

Euphoric answers that eventually just stole

A life that was mine but life is still whole

Though the mind is made of matter trapped in sink holes

& climbing in and out are muskrats and moles

Mood is always winter dont matter which pole

Yet im still walking on the ember flamed coal

Not turning back though its melting my soles

About to reach the skin, but I continue to go

So go ahead & leave me butt naked in the snow

My minds made to make so Ill create a coat

If thin ice breaks just no ill stay afloat

when tsunamis flood the cities im gonna build a boat

Millionaires mind though at times flat broke

This isnt manipulation that dictators spoke

Its the call of determined, the war a poet wrote

The facts neglected to see, make that a sticky note

When waves come crashing, hold your breath to stay afloat

To awake to the suns grace faith and hope

Avalanche stopped dead at the end of the slope

Angel sprouting wings and with another elopes

Taking out evils seed, slipping off her clothes

Dimming the lights forgetting what we know

Getting lost in the moment & wherever it goes

Goosebumps. chills down head to toe

Just sunlight & water for this life to grow
